January Tip of the Month

January is the time of the year the temperature drops and it’s very cold. Hear are some helpful tips to make your winter with for pets more comfortable. 

Cats

Cats like to get in the engine compartment of vehicles because it is warm and protects them from the wind. If you have outdoor cats, make sure you bang on the hood before you start your engine to give a cat the chance to get away. Starting an engine with a cat in it would cause serious injury or death.

Dogs

Make sure your outdoor pets have a warm, insulated place to keep out of the weather. Increase food intake because your pets burn more calories to stay warm.
